Meet the Artists of our Opera in the Park concert. Meet one of the fabulous singers for our upcoming Opera in the Park concert. DAVID PERIERA, TENORDavid Pereira was born in New York City. He has appeared in a variety of leading operatic tenor roles, nationally and internationally to great acclaim, most recently as Ernesto in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale with Miami Lyric Opera, where he resides as a resident artist. David was part of the prestigious Des Moines Metro Opera Young Artist Apprentice program where he appeared in scenes of Bernstein’s Candide as Candide, Count Almaviva in Rossini’s Barber of Seville, Alfred in Die Fledermaus and Chevalier de la force, in Dialogues of the Carmelites.
